Faculty Recognition Day at South Dakota University

Yesterday, at the Faculty Recognition Day (a day dedicated to the celebration of research), Leda Cempellin presended her work on Mario Tessari.

The major interest was caused from Cordenons’ uncompleted fresco. The conference was followed from either University teachers and students, and from various people in the University. The public showed a particolar interest on the subject of the conference.

October, 3rd 2008, Prof. Leda Cempellin (South Dakota University) presented “Between History and Eschatology: the Contribution of Mario Tessari to Italian Anachronism” at the 33rd European Studies Conference, at University of Nebraska in Omaha.
During the “Perspective on European Art”, she illustrated the main themes from the two issues, pubblicated on Mario Tessari’s site. Read more at Mario Tessari’s site.

Hawaii: Leda Cempellin presented Mario Tessari

In Jenuary Dr. Leda Cempellin, who actually teaches at South Dakota State University, Department of Visual Arts, presented her study intitled “Between History and Eschatology: The Contribution of Mario Tessari to Italian Anachronism” at the 2008 hawaii International Conference on Arts and Humanities in Hunolulu, together with another work about Harvey Dunn, a famous artist from South Dakota.

In March, the same work has been accepted at the 33rd Edition of the European Studies Conference that is going to take place at University of Nebraska, in Ohama, in October 2008.
